This swirling little piece was meant to describe one of our pet cats. She loved to chase her tail and seemingly couldn't get enough of it.
Even as an adult cat of many years that tail of hers just mystified her.She would find the strangest places to chase her tail like under a chair or on a book shelf.
One day I was taking a bath and had lured her up on the edge of the tub with all of the bubbles. Of course to keep her balance she was swinging that tail to and fro.
As suddenly as she started after it she found herself in the tub with me!
With a yelp she scampered out of the tub and resumed the chase, sopping wet on the floor beside the tub.
This piece even ends with a yelp!
